Small Bites for Big Steps Professional Development courses 


Before you can register for Small Bites for Big Steps Professional Development courses, you must read, accept and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.  By registering for, and by subsequently accessing or using Thinkific at any time after registration, you acknowledge that you have read, accepted and agreed to these Terms, as updated from time to time. 


Terms of use: 

All information within the Small Bites for Big Steps Professional Development courses (which is inclusive of all visual, audio and written material) is the property of Northern Sydney Local Health District. This information is not to be copied, altered, shared or sold for the profit of any organisation or individual outside of NSW Health 

Although you are welcome and encouraged to share the registration link to this Professional Development course, logins cannot be shared.  

  • Each participant who wishes to complete the Professional Development course must create their own registration and use their own login 
  • Services should not create one account for their teams or staff to use collectivelyEach individual participant is required to have an individual login.  
  • All courses within the Small Bites for Big Steps Professional Development course are FREE.  
  • Please note that only ONE certificate will be provided per account. Any individual who shares an account will not receive a personalised certificate or have their professional development hours logged with NESA

NESA accredited course/s:  

For all participants registering for the NESA accredited course, agree to the following terms & conditions: 

  • Your answers will be monitored to ensure a reasonable level of engagement has been made with the course. 
  • You are required to complete 100% of the course before your NESA number is shared with  NSW Education Standards Australia. 
  • If you skip videos or watch videos at a faster rate than they have been recorded, your completion record will NOT be shared with NESA and your hours will not be updated.  
  • Course completions details will be provided to NSW Education Standards Australia (NESA) ONCE per month. Please note that you will need to complete your course prior to the 28th of each month to have your NESA details updated within that month. Courses completed after the 28th of the month will be sent to NESA in the following month’s completions.    

Certificates: 

Certificates are automatically generated at 100% course completion. (Please note: if you have not answered all questions and watched all videos in their entirety, the course will not be completed and therefore your certificate will not be generated). The information you provide when creating your registration will appear on an individual's certificate. Please ensure your name and details are correct at the time of registration of this account.    


Privacy:  

The questions and answers you provide within this Professional Development course are for your own reflective practice. Your answers may be monitored to ensure a reasonable level of engagement has been made with the course and unidentifiable data may also be used in future reports, presentations and publications. Please note, once you have completed the professional development course, your training records (including your name and the service you work at) will be shared with your Health Promotion Officers within your Local Health District so they can be updated by your Munch & Move teams.  

For those participants completing the NESA accredited courses, your NESA number and details of completion will be shared with NSW Education Standards Australia (NESA)
